Wow. There's a warrant out for Cuba Gooding Jr.'s arrest. He's in Orleans filming a movie called "The Butler" with Oprah Winfrey, Liam Neeson, Robin Williams, John Cusack, Nicole Kidman, Forest Whitaker, Jane Fonda, Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey and holy cow, more big names. Apparently, he got mad at people taking pictures and started cussing people out and pushed a female bartender against a wall at a bar on Bourbon Street yesterday morning at 2:00 A.M.
Snoop Dogg is dead. He's experienced a spiritual and artistic rebirth while spending time in Jamaica recently. He's always said that he was Bob Marley reincarnated. He has always been a Rastafari. Recently he's said that he wants to bury Snoop Dogg, and become Snoop Lion. Snoop says . . and I quote . . "I didn't know that until I went to the temple, where the 'High Priest' asked me what my name was, and I said, 'Snoop Dogg.' And he looked me in my eyes and said, 'No more. You are the light, you are the lion.' So, Snoops Lion has been born. Stay tuned.
2011 Heisman Trophy finalist Montee Ball was hospitalized in Wisconsin this morning after the star running back was jumped by 5 men on the U of W campus. According to reports, 21-year-old Ball was knocked to the ground and then kicked by all 5 men. It's unclear why Ball was targeted in the first place. Montee was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He has since been released. UW coach Bret Bielema says the team expects Ball to make a full recovery ... adding, "We will continue to evaluate him as we approach the start of fall camp this weekend."
It's the Power of Veto competition on "Big Brother 14" tonight from 8:00 to 9:00 on CBS and the "2012 Summer Olympics" continues all day on NBC and its sister networks. Events include the U.S. beach volleyball, men's synchronized diving, men's gymnastics, men's soccer, women's basketball, women's volleyball, swimming and table tennis.
