6-year-old Violet and 3-year-old Seraphina have a new baby brother! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner welcomed a baby boy -- although nobody seems to know what day it happened.
Lindsay Lohan will be on the "Today" show tomorrow talking about her "new" life. She says, "I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn't fun for me. I've become more of a homebody. And I like that." BTW, she is hosting "Saturday Night Live" this weekend . . . and she also confirms that she IS doing the TV movie about Elizabeth Taylor. And she hopes these two projects will change people's minds about her.
Okay, Cee Lo is writing a memoir that is due out next year. He sort of explains what it's about . . "You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal and extraordinary . . . I will make you a believer. I talk about art imitating life . . . YOU discover CRAZY."
E! News is saying that Whitney Houston's death will be ruled an accident
Lady Gaga will reportedly have a cameo on "Men In Black 3"

NE-YO spent this past Monday serving as the principal of a middle school in Seattle. During the day, he also taught math and spoke to the kids about the importance of having a good attendance.
Seriously, I'm just happy to have a JOB. Wiz Khalifa expects to make BANK this year. He says, "Oh yeah, man, I'm going to make $100 MILLION this year. No doubt, $100 million. The new mixtape [will] get everybody ready and get their wallets open."
"American Idol" tonight from 8:00 to 10:00 on Fox. The female semifinalists perform.

LMFAO have announced their new tour dates. Special Guests Far East Movement, The Quest Crew, Sidney Samson, Eva Simons and Natalia Kills. The closest they are coming to us is Mohegan Sun on June 28th. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, March 3.
Clive Davis is reportedly putting the film together about the life of Whitney Houston. Of course, there is a lot of speculation of who would play Whitney. Rihanna is the frontrunner, while Jennifer Hudson, Vivica Fox, Megan Good and Jordin Sparks are being thought of as well. Willow Smith is said to play a young Whitney.
Speaking of Willow Smith, she had a rough few days and Tweeted about it. "Sometimes... Life sucks." She followed that up with, "This day has been horrific...#wishlifewaseasy." I'm sure you'd imagine the rumor mill twisting that it MUST have to do with her parents, WIll and Jada splitting up. But that's not true. She Tweeted, "Omg, stop it already! I'm not allowed to have a bad day? This has nothing to do with my parents! Geez!" Exactly. smh poor girl.
Uma Thurman is pregnant with her third child. A source says she's a few months along and due in "late, late summer."
Jimmy Kimmel has asked Steven Tyler to STUDY a photograph of J-Lo at the Oscars and tell us if she did indeed suffer a wardrobe malfunction. He said, "No, that's not it". ;-) Of course, her stylist says the same thing. "The dress fit perfectly to every inch. While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke's on everyone who wishes they saw something!"
"American Idol" [Performance Show] from 8:00 to 10:00 tonight on Fox. The male semifinalists take the stage and viewer voting begins. The girls perform tomorrow.

Britney's ex, Kevin Federline thinks it's important that, when old enough, the two sons they share, 6-year-old Sean Preston and 5-year-old Jayden James, WORK for a living. Your man K-Fed says, "I'll have them working at Micky D's. That's how we had to do it! I worked at a car wash. I worked at a pizza place. Things like that made me.

Adele's album "21" is killing all sorts of records and now it's just become the first album to go Double Platinum on iTunes - meaning it's been downloaded over 2 million times. Overall, "21" has sold over 7 million copies in the U.S., and over 18 million worldwide.
"American Idol" has been teasing this footage of Steven Tyler stripping down to his skull undies, mooning the camera, and jumping into a pool on the set. They finally aired it at the end of last night's episode. aired at the end of last night's episode . . . but there really wasn't anything more to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At-0USFdtEU
Chris Brown is still on probation from the mess he created 3 years ago. Last night we got the news that he's being investigated for taking a woman's cell phone after she snapped a pic of him outside a club in Miami Beach last weekend. They are calling it . ."robbery by sudden snatching" . . (that's just a funny crime). Chris hasn't been arrested and there are no arrest warrants. Yet.
By the way E! Online says "American Idol" producers are trying to get them to do a duet on the show. Rihanna's rep says the story is "not true."
Aww man poor Snooki -- she just can't get any love! A wine shop right next to Snooki and JWoww's Jersey City home has a sign in its window that says: "No Snooki". For the record, JWoww isn't welcome either. The manager says, "Even if JWoww shows up at our front door she will not be let in. The only thing they are good for is ridicule and amusement."
J.K. Rowling is moving on her her "Harry Potter" books with a new one that she is writing especially for the rownups. She said, "my next book will be very different to the 'Harry Potter' series . . . The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry's success has brought me." There's no word yet on the title, plot or publication date.
Oh goodness -- Katy Perry is going to be on "Raising Hope" March 6th playing a crazy Prison Guard. Check this chick out! Bwaha.

Not surprisingly, the Producers of the BRIT awards have apologized to Adele for cutting her acceptance speech off that resulted in her tossing out the bird.
Rihanna is catching some heat for putting Chris Brown on her "Birthday Cake" track -- but ultimately, it was her desicion. The Dream, who wrote the song, says Rihanna called him and said she was gonna put Chris on it. He says, quote, "At the end of the day, she's my friend, so whatever she wants to do is whatever she wants to do." Obviously Rihanna forgives Chris Brown -- and it's a message that the general public should forgive and forget, too.
This is interesting -- Angelina Jolie has written the foreward to Billy Bob Thornton's new book called, "The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts". No word what she wrote, but they were married for a bit and she was pretty crazy at that time so I'm sure there's gonna be some nutty Angelina stories in the book and apparently she approves, so get crackin - the book comes out in may.
Kourtney Kardashian is due some time this summer and they just found out the sex of the baby. It looks like little 2 year old Mason will have a baby sister!
Lindsay Lohan's is in the home stretch, according to the judge from Lindsay's status hearing yesterday. The judge also said, "You seem to be getting your life back on track." Lindsay has one more progress hearing on March 29th. By then she's expected to have completed all of her probation.
YES! Remember Rachel Crow, the little 14 year old that was eliminated from the "X Factor"? (one of the saddest damn eliminations I've ever seen). She's just scored a record deal with COLUMBIA RECORDS! And to make it even MORE sweet, she's also going to star in her own "musical comedy" series on Nickelodeon. On top of that, Rachel will also get a recurring role on Nickelodeon's new series, "Fred: The Show". She's doing "at least five episodes.
"American Idol" [Final Judgment - Part 2] tonight from 8:00 to 9:00 on Fox. The final group of semifinalists is announced.

Adele was at the U.K. Brit awards last night collecting for "Best Album". I guess her acceptance speech ran a little long because the host ended up cutting her off. So, she tossed out a bird.
The rumor mill is spinning about Drew Barrymore. She was spotted leaving a doctor's office in Beverly Hills with her fiancé the other day. And she was holding what appeared to be a string of ultrasound pictures.
Justin Bieber's first book, "First Step 2 Forever: My Story", did so well that he's just signed his second book deal. The new book will be called "Justin Bieber: Justin Getting Started", and it will take fans behind-the-scenes on his tour and the recording of an album. Justin says, "I'm so excited to be working on another book with HarperCollins. Being able to share my story with my fans through these books is an absolute privilege.I can't wait to show them more about my life on tour and in the studio in this next book."
This would be interesting -- but I doubt we'll hear much more about it. The Huffington Post claims that Bobby Brown has a tell-all book about his life with Whitney Houston ready to publish. He apparently had it written four years ago, but at the time, no one was interested. All that changed when Whitney died. According to a source, there are only two things potentially stopping Bobby from releasing the book: A confidentiality agreement he signed when he divorced Whitney and his fear of what the book will do to their daughter.
Even though season 1 Winner of the Voice, Javier Colon, says he's down for a "Super Final" competition against the winners of "American Idol" and "X Factor", Coach Adam Levine is NOT down. He admits it's a cool idea, but says, "We all know the more we worry about everybody else, the more the quality of what you’re doing tends to suffer. So, we want to just do what we do."
Fox is working on a "speed dating"-type game show called "Take Me Out". It's based on a show that's been done in Australia and the U.K. Here's how it works: A bachelor is presented in front of 30 single women who are each standing at a lighted podium. As they learn more about the bachelor, they can turn their light off if they lose interest, or choose to remain in the hunt. Then, it's the guy's turn and he can turn off the lights of the remaining women. Ultimately, it comes down to one "winner," and they go on a date, which is shown in a later episode.

It Looks like Chris Tucker owes Uncle Sam more than $12 MILLION in back taxes. The IRS had previously hit him with liens for nonpayment of more than $11.5 million in federal taxes from 2001, 2002 and 2004 through 2006. And now, the state of Georgia says he owes them almost $600,000. That makes his grand total $12,164,504.08. It might be time for him to get back to work. Since 1998 he's only released THREE FILMS: And they were all "Rush Hour" movies.
Maybe he can borrow some money from Paris Hilton. For her 31st birthday, she sent Friday in Vegas and won $30,000 at a blackjack table. She Tweeted, "#BirthdayGirlsLuck. I love gambling."
Team Edward? You'll be happy to know that Robert Pattinson gets all kinds of NAKED in his upcoming movie "Bel Ami". His co-star, Christina Ricci says he's naked for most the movie. "Bel Ami" comes out March 2nd and you're welcome.
Yesterday, I mentioned that Simon Cowell recently proposed a "super final," where the winners of "American Idol", "The Voice" and "X Factor" would face-off to determine the best singer. Well, Javier Colon, the winner of the first season of "The Voice", is interested. He Tweeted, "I respect the other winners a lot but if you want a battle, I'm IN!"
Aaand, it's official, Adam Lambert WILL perform with Queen this summer. For now, it's only ONE show -- a 3 day festival in England on Saturday, July 7th.

Bobby Brown DID attend Whitney's funeral in New Jersey on Saturday, but left beofre the ceremony began. He issued a statement saying, "My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continued to ask us and no one else to move." TMZ says that Bobby is leaving out one important detail: Whitney's family invited Bobby and TWO guests, but he showed up at the church with NINE people, and got mad when he was told they couldn't seat all of them.
Many spoke at Whitney's funeral, but the 15 minute long speak from Kevin Costner was absolutely touching and I know she would have loved to hear him say, "A lot of leading men could have played my part, a lot of guys could have filled that role, but you Whitney, I truly believe are the only one who could have played Rachel Marron. You weren't just pretty, you were as beautiful as a woman could be. People didn't just like you, they loved you." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wjh0N1EzPI&feature=related
Over the weekend, Nick Cannon announced he's quitting his radio show in New York. "Under doctor's orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule."
Miley Cyrus has added to her growing collection of tattoos. She got the phrase "Love Never Dies" on the inside of her left bicep. LOVE THE SHIRT!
Simon Cowell has an interesting idea that I'm surprised I haven't thought of: A face-off between all of the winners of the various singing competition shows. He Tweeted, "Maybe the winner of 'X Factor' this year should compete with winner of 'The Voice' and 'American Idol' in a super final. Just a thought. I'd be up for it."
"The Colbert Report" was abruptly and mysteriously shut down last Wednesday, but it will return tonight. Word is that Stephens 91 year old mother is very ill.

Whitney Houston's funeral tomorrow will be a star-studded affair. Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder will sing at the service. Clive Davis, who discovered Whitney, will speak. Whitney's "Bodyguard" co-star Kevin Costner will also speak and the eulogy will be delivered by gospel singer Marvin Winans. The guest list includes Oprah Winfrey, Chaka Khan (Chaka Khan), Brandy, L.A. Reid, Alicia Keys, Tyler Perry, Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick and yes, Bobby Brown will be there. In casse you were wondering how you could attend the ceremony, the funeral will air live online. It's being streamed on the Associated Press' Livestream page beginning at noon.
Rihanna threw a birthday party for herself at a private home in Los Angeles on Monday. And uhm, here's the cake . .
How romantic . . Jada Pinkett-Smith recently recorded a love song for her husband called "Burn". And on Valentine's Day she posted it on her Facebook page and dedicated it to Will. The song goes something like this . . "Can you feel my heartbeat next to yours? / Stay here within me, never leave me / I want to burn." Along with the audio, she wrote a message to Will that concluded, "Will, I love you. Happy Valentine's Day. This is for you."
It *was* on Soundcloud, but now there is an error.
Jennifer Lopez tweeted this classy, black-and-white photo of herself and her 24-year-old boyfriend Casper. But for whatever reason, she removed it and replaced it with this message, "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY #JLOVERS!!! I wish U ALL lots of love today and always! I appreciate and love you all. #sweettweet." Boo no fun!
Ut oh, Justin Bieber may not be the little sweetheart good-doer that we think he is. He was at Disneyland with Selena Gomez, enjoyng a day when a bunch of girls started harrassing him and telling him that they follow him on Twitter. I *guess* he tossed the bird and said (EFF)You. Aaaand this was all caught on a camera phone. It's hard to see anything and it's quick, but the video is getting a lot of hits, so obviously people care. Somewhere . .
After suffering mild kidney failure last month, Nick Cannon was hospitalized again last Friday. This time it was for two blood clots in his lungs and an enlarged right ventricle. And as a result, he's finally going to slow things down. He says, "I always took a lot of pride in working so hard and never taking a day off. But I'm learning that it isn't the wisest thing all the time, especially being a new father. Not only wanting to spend more time with my children, but wanting to be there for my children." Luckily for him, "America's Got Talent" is moving to New York to accommodate new judge Howard Stern, which means less air travel for Nick between New York and L.A. (Frequent flying increases the chance of blood clots.)
Ack! Zach Galifianakis shaved off his beard.
I love gossip. TheWrap.com reports that NBC has re-signed all four coaches on "The Voice" for next season, the show's third. According to the report, Adam Levine, Cee Lo, and Blake Shelton have re-upped for $6 million apiece. Looks like Christina Aguilera has agreed to return for $10 million. The site also claims NBC has finalized a plan to bring "The Voice" back this fall, instead of waiting for next spring. This would put it up against Fox's "X Factor". Of course, NBC would not confirm any of this.
Oh realllly? There's a rumor that Janet Jackson will be a new judge on the "X-Factor" and she isn't doing a great job denying it. Anderson Cooper asked her about the rumor, she seemed surprised . . . and then stammered, laughed, and stammered again. She said, "Oh my God . . . real- um- I- um- I can't- I guess I . . . no, I'm not a judge on 'The X Factor', but that's- I can't talk." Anderson bailed her out by saying, "You're not CURRENTLY a judge on 'X Factor'?" And Janet responded, "No. No, I'm not. But that's all I really think I should say." The interview airs on Anderson's talk show Monday.
The nominees for this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards are out. "Harry Potter" leads with four nominations, "The Smurfs" and "Kung Fu Panda" have three. Tim Tebow is up for Best Male Athlete. Voting begins March 1st. You can find all the nominees at Nick.com. The show airs March 31st on Nickelodeon. Will Smith will be the host.

The "Hollywood Reporter" points out that "American Idol" has started a trend of reality competitions paying top dollar to land big name "judges." This began when they shelled out $12 MILLION to land Jennifer Lopez. At the time, "Idol" was under a lot of pressure to bring in a high-profile celebrity to compensate for Simon's departure. J-Lo was the first judge to get big money to join a show. And last year, she reportedly got $20 million to come back for the current season. Since then, NBC parted with $10 million to re-sign "Voice" coach Christina Aguilera AND they coughed up $15 million to get Howard Stern to join "America's Got Talent". On top of that, they're moving production to New York City to accommodate him. So, is it a game?
Cee Lo Green is working on two albums simultaneously. He has a solo album on the way called "Everybody's Brother" and his rap group GOODIE MOB is putting out an album called "Age Against the Machine". Both albums are "coming soon".
Okay what's the deal? Back in December, Adele said she was going to take a few years off. She *just* told "Vogue" magazine that she was going to kick it for 4 or 5 years so she can concentrate on her love life. I guess the Grammy's (and the fact that "21" has been sitting in the Top Spot of the Billboard Album Charts for 20 weeks now [ironically tieing with the "Bodyguard" Soundtrack]) taught her that she needs to hit the road and tour or at least keep her music going. In a new blog post, Adele says, "I have a few days off now, and then it's the Brit Awards here at home, and then I'm straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"
Whitney Houston's "Greatest Hits" album just hit #6 on the Top Ten Billboard Album Charts, selling 64,000 copies in just over a day. Several of Whitney's other albums made it back onto the charts, too. Her debut album is at #72, the "Bodyguard" soundtrack is at #80 and her last studio album, "I Look To You", made it back to #118. In all, 101,000 Whitney albums were sold since Sunday. DIGITALLY, 887,000 tracks were sold. Not surprisingly, the most popular tune was "I Will Always Love You", which was purchased 195,000 times.
.. aaaand cut! (I hate bogus stories!) Regarding room 434 at the Beverly Hilton, nobody's in it now, and nobody is going to be in it for a while. The hotel says TMZ didn't even bother to contact them before running a story saying that someone was already staying in it, and that it was booked well into the future.
Catch "Remembering Whitney: The Oprah Interview" from 9:00 to 11:00 P.M. on OWN. A two part interview that original aired in September 2009 on Oprah's talk show in which she spoke with Whitney Houston regarding her personal life, her struggles with addiction, rumors and her marriage to Bobby Brown.
"American Idol" [Performance Challenge] . . . 8:00 to 10:00 P.M. on Fox.

This is awfully creepy and beyond insane . . the room Whitney Houston died is booked for the "foreseeable future." The hotel is getting tons of requests for it. Someone is even staying in it right now. (It's room 434, if you care, and it costs $375 a night.)
Whitney Houston's family has decided to scrap the public memorial service that was supposed to take place Friday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The mayor's office says, "The Houston family has no plans to set up a public viewing at the Prudential Center this Friday. In compliance with the family's wishes, the city is not moving forward with any public ceremony." Instead, they're just having a private service at the New Hope Baptist Church, where Whitney used to sing as a child. The church seats about 300 people. There's no word who'll be on the guest list.
In the new issue of "GQ" magazine, Jennifer Aniston is trying to set the record straight once and for all. She says, "I'm not having triplets. Not having twins. Nor am I having one baby. You heard it here. I'm not knocked up now." She and her boyfriend aren't planning on having any kids any time soon, either. She says, "I still kind of go with, if it happens, it happens. I'm calm and peaceful with whatever the plan is. It's not something where I'm going, 'I gotta have a kid!'" She blames weight gain on the fact that she quit smoking. "I recently quit smoking, and you do put on some extra pounds! It makes a difference, especially if you're not 20."
I totally heart Justin Bieber right now. Someone started an online campaign to get a 6 year old little girl battling cancer, to meet her idol. And on Monday, Justin flew Avalanna Routh and her family from their home in Massachusetts to New York City so she could do just that. They only had 2 hours together but they squeezed in a game of Candy Land and autographed each other's hands. Justin Tweeted, "That was one of the best things I have ever done. She was AWESOME!"
Not a surprise that Sunday night's "Grammy Awards" took the top spot in the ratings with its HUGE audience of 39.9 million viewers. That's their second-largest audience ever: 43.8. million people watched in 1984 when Michael Jackson cleaned up with "Thriller".

The big news over the weekend is that we lost a legend. Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday afternoon. She was only 48 years old. The cause of death hasn't been determined yet. An autopsy was performed yesterday, but as usual, the results of toxicology tests won't be available for several weeks. Even the preliminary results are being kept under wraps. TMZ reports that Whitney was discovered in the bathtub with her face underwater and her legs up, as if she had slid down while sitting back in the tub. Sources say that Whitney had a prescription for the anti-anxiety drug Xanax. In fact, many people are saying that she used Xanax and was drinking pretty heavily on Friday, the night before her death. Sources also claim that police found the sedatives Lorazepam, Valium and some kind of sleep medication in Whitney's room.
Here's what the stars were saying online . . .
** MARIAH CAREY: "She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth." Mariah also said she was, "heartbroken and in tears."
** CHRISTINA AGUILERA: "We have lost another legend. Love and prayers to Whitney's family . . . She will be missed."
** RIHANNA: "No words! Just tears #DearWhitney."
And it gets even more sad . . Simon Cowell said, "We were ironically going to meet on Monday. She would have been the ultimate, ultimate mentor to any contestant coming on the show."
Adele took home six awards -- including the top three categories: Album of the Year for "21", plus Song of the Year and Record of the Year, both for "Rolling in the Deep". She also won Best Pop Solo Performance ("Someone Like You") . . . Best Pop Vocal Album ("21") and Best Short Form Music Video ("Rolling in the Deep"). Those 6 trophies match a record Beyonce set two years ago for most Grammys in a single year by a female singer. Adele defeated Bruno Mars in FIVE categories, leaving him empty-handed. Adele wasn't the only big winner. The Foo Fighters won FIVE of the six categories they were nominated in: Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance, Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance and Best Long-Form Video. Kanye West won 4 Grammys, including Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Rap / Sung Collaboration.
Was Madonna angry that M.I.A. tossed out the bird at the Super Bowl Half Time Show? Why, yes . . she was. In an interview recently, she said, "I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity, it seemed negative. It's such a teenager, irrelevant thing to do . . . What was the point? It was just out of place."
Aww yea! A while back, we heard that Roseanne Barr was developing a show called "Downwardly Mobile". It's about a blue-collar family who lives in a mobile home community, so obviously it reminded us of her old sitcom, "Roseanne". Now it's even MORE similar, because John Goodman has joined the cast. According to the "Hollywood Reporter", Roseanne plays, "the outspoken proprietor and 'den mother' to an array of characters at a mobile home park . . . [and] John is one of the guys who work at the park." "Downwardly Mobile" is expected to premiere on NBC this fall.
"The Voice" [Blind Auditions: Part 3] from 8:00 to 10:00 P.M. on NBC.

GINGER JUICE : FRIDAY February 10, 2012
Oh this is good stuff. Sources are saying that Kris Humphries doesn't want any of Kim Kardashian's money in the divorce settlement -- he just wants her to admit their marriage was a FRAUD. One source says, "Kris' lawyers have said the only terms acceptable for a settlement would be if Kim agrees to Kris' contention that the marriage was a fraud. There is a stand-off at this point because Kim will never agree to that."
"In Touch Weekly" claims that Rosie O'Donnell has played matchmaker to Jenny McCarthy and Tim Tebow. Supposedly, Jenny told Rosie she had a crush on Tebow, so Rosie took Jenny right up to him after the Superbowl and said, "Hi, I'm Rosie O'Donnell and this is Jenny McCarthy and she's single. I think you two would be perfect together. Now exchange telephone numbers." A source says they DID exchange numbers, but there's no word if they've hooked up.
Miley Cyrus has dropped out of Adam Sandler's animated film "Hotel Transylvania" . . . and she's being replaced by Selena Gomez. Miley was supposed to play Mavis, the teenage daughter of Count Dracula, who's being voiced by Sandler. There's no word why she quit. The movie is about a resort Dracula runs for other monsters, and the chaos that ensues when a human boy discovers it . . . and falls for Mavis. The voice cast is loaded. Kevin James and Fran Drescher play the Frankenstein Monster and his Bride, David Spade is the Invisible Man, Cee Lo Green is a Mummy, David Koechner is Quasimodo, and Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon.
Whoops! In the new issue of "Redbook", Chelsea Handle talks about her relationship with 50 CENT and how she wanted to out-do him. She says, "When I was dating 50 Cent, he came over with a Ferrari one night, and I'm like watch this. So I got a Bentley. Meanwhile, he never even bought that Ferrari. He took it on loan. And here I am, 'Ahhh...I just bought this Bentley.'
Speaking of 50 . . he flew to Somalia on Wednesday to draw attention to the famine there, and the people who are dying of hunger.

In case you wanted to name a new product line "Blue Ivy", you're going to have a lot of trouble. Beyonce and Jay Z have applied for a trademark on their daughter's name. This stops other people from exploiting it. And there's also speculation that Beyonce and Jay-Z plan to turn "Blue Ivy" into a brand name for a line of baby products like strollers, diaper bags and clothing. Two people have already tried to slip in and steal the name. After the baby was born, one guy tried to trademark "Blue Ivy Carter NYC", and another tried to snag "Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV". Both were denied. I doubt there will be any delays with Beyonce and Jay-Z's application.
Jay Z and Kanye West have released a new video for "*** in Paris". It's basically a TRIPPED OUT concert video with wild animals and strobe lights. It's so "flashy" that there's a warning about it potentially causing seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. NOT SAFE FOR LITTLE EARS AND THE WORK PLACE : http://vevo.ly/ylTyYf

Most actors (the good ones, anyway) will adjust their real lives to fit the character that they are playing in a movie. Denzel Washington is one of those really good actors. In his upcoming movie, "Safe House", his character gets "waterboarded" . . that's when someone is pouring water on your face so that you can't breathe and you FESS UP - answer whatever question the bad guy is asking. Denzel said, "It's strange. You can't breathe in. And that was just one time for a short time. Imagine having that done for 20, 30 seconds? You will give up the answers!" Co-star Ryan Reynolds had trouble just watching it, "It was intense. Disturbing. I had sympathetic pain. I always get sympathetic pain. I wish I didn't. I felt like I was drowning."
Chelsea Handler was on Rosie O'Donnell's show yesterday talking about the death of her brother. She said, "He was hiking in the Grand Tetons and he literally fell like 80 feet off a cliff." Instead of dealing with her grief, Chelsea says she shut down . . . quote, "I was shut down because I didn't want to cry in front of anyone. I had seen my parents cry I was embarrassed."

Jane Carrey (Jim Carrey's daughter) was eliminated from American Idol last night -- the first night of Hollywood Week. http://www.eonline.com/videos/jim-carreys-daughter-awaits-her-fate/178593 And there was a 16 year old contestant named Symone Black that collapsed and fell off stage. Crazy, I know. Medics were called and there is no word on her condition.
Hugh Laurie's contract with Fox for the show "House" is up after this season. And last fall, he said he planned to retire after the show ended. He stuck to his word because Fix has announced that this, their 8th season, will be its last. The finale is scheduled to air on May 21st.
Russell Brand and Katy Perry didn't have a prenup, and in California that means the assets can be split 50-50. Katy made somewhere in the neighborhood of $44 million during the 14 months they were married, and Russell is cool letting her keep it. A source says, "This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a [good guy]." Katy signed the divorce papers last week and after her signature . . a smiley face! :-)

Madonna is coming to town! She's added some North American dates to her upcoming tour and will perform at the Bell Centre in Montreal on August 31st. Tickets go on sale on the 18th of this month. She'll also be in Boston in September.
Kathy Griffin has a new boyfriend. He's like 18 years younger than her. She's 51, so that makes him about 33. Kathy says, "He has a really mellow temperament, which I need because I'm a spinning-out-of-control freak."
Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan welcomed a baby boy yesterday morning. The child was born healthy and there was nothing wrong with him - until he received his name. For some reason, Robert and Susan chose to curse him with the title EXTON ELIAS DOWNEY. Robert also has an 18-year-old son named Indio from his first marriage.
Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are teaming up again for a comedy called "Interns". They'll play two guys who get laid off from their company and decide to become interns at a Google-type dotcom company where they find themselves competing against much younger employees for advancement.
Simon Cowell says he did NOT offer Beyonce a ridiculous five-year, $500 MILLION contract to join "X Factor". He tells "Extra", "I have no clue where that came from. I read that online that I offered her $100 million a year. The budget for the [whole] show is $100 million. That would never, ever happen."
Nicole Scherzinger isn't bitter about losing her gig as a judge on "X-Factor", she says that she had a wonderful experience on the show and has no regrets. But, that she doesn't really know why she was canned. She says, "Well, all I know is that I gave 110% to that show. I know everybody's talking about it, they're saying good, bad, they love me or hate me, but the one thing you can't say is that I didn't give it my all."
Let's run some numbers . . "The Voice" averaged 11.5 million viewers in the first season, and its previous best episode was 14.4 million viewers for the final night of the battle rounds. The season premier was the best ever, at 37.6 million viewers. Were they able to hold up for Monday night's episode? Pretty much -- This season's second episode averaged 17.7 million viewers. That's very very good.

Madonna's halftime show attracted more viewers than the game itself. 111.3 million tuned into the game, then the numbers jumped to 114 million when Madonna took the stage. (Also about 4 million more than the Black Eyed Peas' halftime show drew last year.) Madonna was also big online. According to Twitter, the halftime show generated 10,245 TPS (Tweets-per-second). That was enough to set a new record for a "live entertainment event." And people were digging the show. Roughly 59% of those tweets were POSITIVE, while 11% were neutral and only 30% were negative.
Sunday's Super Bowl was the most-watched TV program of ALL TIME. Sunday's game continues an upward trend. The Super Bowl audience has grown by over 25 million people over the past seven years. Here's the rundown:
--Super Bowl 39 . . . the Patriots beat the Eagles in 2005: 86.1 million viewers.
--Super Bowl 40 . . . the Steelers top the Seahawks in 2006: 90.7 million viewers.
--Super Bowl 41 . . . the Colts defeat the Bears in 2007: 93.2 million viewers.
--Super Bowl 42 . . . the Giants beat the Patriots in 2008: 97.4 million viewers.
--Super Bowl 43 . . . the Steelers defeat the Cardinals in 2009: 98.7 million viewers.
--Super Bowl 44 . . . the Saints win over the Colts in 2010: 106.5 million viewers.
--Super Bowl 45 . . . the Packers top the Steelers last year: 111 million viewers.
--Super Bowl 46 . . . the Giants win on Sunday: 111.3 million viewers.
NBC was very smart by putting the second season premiere of "The Voice" right after the Super Bowl. 37.6 million people watched it, which was far bigger than the 26.8 million that Fox got with "Glee" in that slot last year. The first season averaged about 12 million viewers last spring. The numbers for last night's episode aren't available yet. I'd be interested to see if they can keep the ratings up.
YAY a Letters Game! -- If the FCC fines NBC for M.I.A. flipping the bird during the halftime show, they'd likely hand the bill over to the NFL, who will in turn hand it over to M.I.A. She signed a contract that included a provision in which she had to accept responsibility for any fines that were handed out on her behalf. And supposedly, the NFL would have no interest in bailing M.I.A. out because they'd want to send a message to all future performers.
According to AdAge.com, the Super Bowl ad that got the most social media buzz was . . . H&M's ad with a mostly-naked David Beckham. It got 108,914 social media mentions in the 45 minutes after it aired. 83% were from women. Chrysler's ad with Clint Eastwood got the second-most, at 95,682 mentions in 45 minutes. Those were 65% from men. The commercial showing the judges from "The Voice" having a "Kill Bill"-style fight to get to Betty White came in third. The ad where the dog bribes a guy with Doritos to cover up apparently killing a cat came in fourth (and also got the most positive comments). The Pepsi ad with Elton John and the "X Factor" winner came in fifth.
78 year old Joan Rivers admits she's had 739 surgical procedures. She's actually joked that she goes so often, she gets the 10th procedure free! But one physical change still on Joan’s wish list is to get a tattoo, and she even visited a tattoo shop on her 78th birthday before deciding against getting inked.
NICE!! Cee Lo Green has finally explained the target behind the song "F*ck You". You'd think it's a note to a cheating spouse but actually, Cee Lo told Esquire, it's actually a shot fired by an overlooked artist. "I'd been recording for three years and I had over seventy songs, and I was ready to be heard," he said. "But my label was just sitting on it, and it was very disheartening, not knowing if what I was doing was good enough. It seemed like I couldn't please anybody. So of course, figuratively, I was like, 'You don't you like me? Well eff you!"

Mo' money, mo' problems. Lil Kim owes Uncle Sam over $1 million dollars in back taxes. TMZ claims Kimmy Blanco owes money for every year from 2002-2009. A rep for Kim responded to TMZ with an email statement stating that Kimmy "hired professional attorneys to handle this matter".
No more back and forth hair whipping for little Willow Smith . . she shaved her head and now she looks like her dad and it's not a pretty sight.
I'm absolutely not surprised in the least that, according to "InTouch Weekly", little Blue Ivy Carter has SIX NANNIES!! 3 sets of 2 who watch her 24 hours a day. Oh, and also she drinks out of a bottle that's encrusted with PINK SAPPHIRES. And I'm eating top ramen from a red solo cup. Awesome.
So while Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones are all ex's of X-Factor . . the "Hollywood Reporter" claims L.A. Reid has signed a deal to return next season.
Thought I'd throw this in the Juice .. Steven Tyler doesn't understand why some people claim he "butchered" the National Anthem before the AFC Championship game two weeks ago, because he sang it the way he intended to . . and IMO, the way you'd expect Steven Tyler to sing it. He says, "I put emphasis on, 'In the land of the free,' and I went up. I hit the note, so I don't know what they're talking about. I emphasized 'free,' which was for freedom. It was well thought out prior to. I wasn't messing with American tradition." Right. So there.
Snoop Dogg is a big fan of Madonna's, apparently. He Tweeted, "Madonna killen the superbowl her show is soo fresh. Wowoowowowowowoowowowowowow!" Also, over the weekend, he Tweeted that he has a new album coming out next year. He's going to name it "Reincarnated".
And the whoa whoa whoa story of the day . . According to Daniel Radcliffe HIMSELF, he was drunk a LOT during the filming of the "Harry Potter" movies. While he never drank on set, he was drunk when he got there, and drunk on film. "I went into work still drunk. I can point to many scenes where I'm just gone. Dead behind the eyes. I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem."

Seriously? Tom's wife Gisele sent an e-mail to family and friends asking them to PRAY for Tom so that he and the New England Patriots can, "fulfill their dream of winning this Super Bowl." I'm serious. The e-mail reads, "My sweet friends and family. This Sunday will be a really important day in my husband's life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this Super Bowl. "I FEEL TOMMY REALLY NEEDS OUR PRAYER, OUR SUPPORT AND LOVE AT THIS TIME." smh The "New York Post" put it on their front page yesterday. They also contacted Gisele about it. Her reply was, "I am surprised that you received this e-mail; it was a private note only sent to close friends and family."
According to HollywoodLife.com, Kim Kardashian is hoarding all of the wedding gifts and Kris Humphries hasn't seen any of them since the wedding back in August. Kris thinks the gifts should have at least been split 50-50 and that they should all be RETURNED.
Oh this is GREAT!! Roseanne is running for President of the United States! She has officially filed papers seeking to become the Green Party candidate. In a recent statement, she expressed her dislike for the two major parties, "The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants, bought and paid for by the 1%, who are not doing what's in the best interest of the American people."
I wouldn't suggest asking Brad Pitt for parenting advice . . On an episode of "Inside the Actors' Studio" that will air next Friday, Brad admits that he sometimes shoves caffeine in his kids' faces to get them moving in the morning. He says, "I admit there's times like, 'We gotta get up. Get up! Here's your shoes. Here's your shoes. Drink this Coke. Drink this Coca-Cola. Drink it all. Right now! Drink it! Drink it! Drink it!' Just so we could get 'em up and going."
Remember the story yesterday of how Tracy Morgan won't help his mother keep her house? He'd like us to know two things. ONE: "For reasons that are between us, I have not seen my mother in 11 years and outside of a random call here and there have had little to no contact with my sister." AND TWO: "We all have personal family issues that we have to deal with in life, but I choose to deal with mine in private and not through the media." Well said!
The "X-Factor" Rumor Mill is in full operation! MediaTakeOut.com claims to have an "EXTREMELY RELIABLE insider" who says that Simon Cowell is offering BEYONCE $500 million to be a judge. Yes, $500 MILLION. The "insider" says this would be a five-year deal - $100 million a year - and supposedly Beyoncé IS interested. There's also a lot of talk about Mariah Carey. When Simon was first putting the show together, he expressed interest in having Mariah on board, but she was pregnant with twins. Randy Jackson is Mariah's manager and he said that Mariah would "be amazing." But Randy wouldn't be surprised if Simon did snag a big name. He said, "Simon's one of the smartest people I know. I'm sure he's got some very interesting ideas up his sleeve."
If you were hoping for a wardrobe malfunction during this year's Superbowl Half Time Show, I have some sad news. Madonna says we won't see any, but that it will be "a spectacular show, for all age groups, and it will be a feast for the ears and eyes." She will sing three old songs and one new one. She didn't elaborate WHICH songs because she doesn't want to "blow the surprise", but the new one is surely her single "Give Me All Your Luvin'".

Well thank goodness for this . . Snooki is NOT pregnant. In a radio interview yesterday, Snooki said, "Does that mean they're calling me fat? I just lost all this weight. That means that I have a belly then. I never said once I was pregnant."
The GENIUS who created Soul Train, Mr. Don Cornelius, passed away yesterday morning of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was 75. He did not leave a suicide note, but sources say he was battling several health issues and the pain had become pretty intense. RIP!
We learned that Adele will perform at the Grammy's and now we can add Katy Perry to the list. This will be her first major performance since her split with Russell Brand. By the way, Katy is developing a 3D concert movie called "Candyfornia" (similar to the ones recently done by the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber and "Glee"). If it happens, it would go to theaters, but it's too early to say when.
Nicki Minaj's rider just surfaced online. Here are the highlights from it:
--Three large 'Baked Goods' scented candles.
--24 bottles of Dasani Water . . . 12 room temperature, 12 on ice.
--12 cans of Red Bull . . . six room temperature, six iced.
--12 bottles of Martinelli's Apple Juice . . . six room temperature, six iced.
--24 bottles of Snapple, 12 must be Lemon Ice Tea, 12 other assorted flavors.
--Egg Whites (scrambled hard), Turkey Bacon (fried hard), white toast (grape and strawberry jelly/jam). Belgian Waffles (syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, butter and strawberries on side). Enough to serve 4 people
--3 twelve-piece buckets of fried chicken spicy. No thighs, lots of wings.
--Salad: Iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, green olives, Wishbone Light Italian dressing, Bumble Bee tuna in water, wheat or low fat crackers.
Kanye West recently sent representatives to the Persian Gulf region to scout locations for a short film. The project, which will take a form much like his 30-minute “Runaway” that premiered on MTV in October of 2010, is to be filmed in March.
Ryan Seacrest's "American Idol" contract is up after this season and that has led to some speculation that he could be leaving the show. He has a lot of things he's already doing, from his radio show to the show on E!, he's launching his own cable channel, he's the executive producer of everything Kardashian, there's even talk that he'll take over for Regis Philbin on "Live!", replace Matt Lauer on "Today" or maybe even be the next host of "X Factor". So, if he were to leave American Idol, who could replace him?? Some people are saying Neil Patrick Harris! OF COURSE! BUT, In an interview with "Access Hollywood" this week, Neil said, "I would not want to do that job at all. I'd rather be a judge on 'American Idol'. That seems like the fun gig." Dang.
Speaking of American Idol" -- They are in St. Louis tonight from 8:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Fox. Madonna previews her "Give Me All Your Luvin'" video featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.

RadarOnline is saying that Snooki is going to be a MOM. She and her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle, are expecting their first child. An insider says, "She is pregnant and has only told her closest friends and some family. She’s been telling people that she has a big announcement coming."
Okay, this is strange . . Justin Bieber's dad, Jeremy got into a fight with his nephew (Justin's cousin), Tylor. This happened outside a BAR a few weeks ago. Apparently, the kid told his Uncle, Justin's dad (are you following me?) that he (Justin's dad, Tylor's Uncle . . MR. BIEBER) would be nothing without Justin. So, Jeremy (Mr. Bieber) punched his nephew . . in the face . . repeatedly.
Funny man, actor Tracy Morgan is worth $18 million. Not bad. Except, his mom is broke. She needs $25,000 to keep the bank from foreclosing on her house. She asked her rich son for some money and he said he can LOAN her 2 grand. That's it. Just enough so she can make the minimum payment required to keep her in the house a little longer. Wow. For the record, Tracy's younger sister, Asia says that Tracy has never been a nice person.
So it's official, Paula Adbul will not be a judge on the next season of the X-Factor. She released a statement yesterday, "I won't be returning to 'The X Factor' next season. I've learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations. Simon and I have been communicating about this for a while now, and I have absolute understanding of the situation. Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I've treasured my experience working [on the show] this past season. I want nothing more than for 'The X Factor' to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful."
Selena Gomez dons the cover of Cosmopolitan's March issue. She says that she and Justin Bieber strive to maintain a low-key relationship. "I'm just like every 19-year-old girl. If you're in love, you're in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out, and be as normal as possible. I'm fortunate that I've found someone who has that philosophy."
