GINGER JUICE : FRIDAY August 31, 2012



MTV has announced that "Jersey Shore" will end after its upcoming 6th season, which has already been filmed.  It will premiere on October 4th. If this saddens you and you feel as though you need more "Jersey Shore", well then . . there will be repeats of the show all day next Thursday, right up to 6pm.  Then MTV will air a one-hour special called "Gym, Tanning, Look Back", where the cast will "reminisce" about the show.  At 7:00, the cast will give live interviews from the red carpet at before the "MTV Video Music Awards".   Of course, the stars of "Jersey Shore" aren't totally going away . . . unfortunately.  MTV just ordered a second season of "Snooki & JWoww", and there could be other spin-offs, although the future of "The Pauly D Project" is still up in the air.



Oh, btw . . yesterday, Adele Tweeted, "I'm not married . . . Zzzzzzz." Okay . .



The coroner's report is in, and Sage Stallone died a heart condition that caused blocked arteries.  As for the painkillers, Sage had MINIMAL amounts of hydrocodone in his system.  He was probably taking that because he'd recently had teeth pulled, just like his mother said.



Yesterday, Will.I.Am and British singer Cheryl Cole were leaving a recording studio in L.A. together when Will ran his Cadillac into a parked car.  They both Tweeted after the crash that they were fine, although Will said he had whiplash.  He also reportedly suffered a bloody nose.  He was treated at a nearby hospital, and left in a neck brace.



Chris Lighty, a man that has managed a lot of big-name artists, including 50 Cent, A Tribe Called Quest, Mariah Carey, Diddy and Ja Rule was found dead of an apparent suicide yesterday at his home in New York City.  He was 44.  The "New York Daily News" reports that he shot himself in the head after an argument with his ex-wife.  He's been influencial for a long time.some pretty sweet lucrative sponsorship deals. 



Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is in talks to get his own reality show on E! It'll probably be one of those things where they just film him doing whatever it is that he does.  He says, "Pretty much they follow me on my normal day, just training, doing my own fashion line. It's real.  It's not fake or anything like that." Right . . because we know how real reality TV is.



John Mayer had surgery on his vocal cords last October, and went MONTHS without being able to sing.  He attempted a comeback tour this past spring, but had to cancel.  Earlier this summer, he said he was focusing on writing, because he STILL couldn't sing.  And now, it looks like he's back on total vocal rest.   In a post on Tumblr, John says, "Well, here I am.  Silent for the next few months, [and] no singing for probably six, but all signs point to this being the last step in getting to perform again."



Wow.  Simon Cowell was on his yacht, vacationing in St. Tropez a couple of days ago when he heard a distress call from a nearby boat that was sinking.  He and his crew rescued 9 people and brought them back to his yacht.  They even helped patch up the other boat and pump water from it.



Back in June, a woman by the name of Angel Alger spent her life savings of $50,000 to buy a dressing room trailer that was created for Elizabeth Taylor for the filming of the 1963 movie "Cleopatra". In July, she lent the trailer to the Lifetime network to use in their movie "Liz & Dick" -- a movie that Lindsay Lohan is in.  You see where this is going?  When the trailer was returned, there were cigarette burns on fabric, furniture and even a portrait of Liz.  A mirror, dishes and other glassware were broken and some things were MISSING, including an antique rocking chair that Liz used to sit in every night after filming and a brush that may have still had some of Liz's hair in it.  Lindsay's overworked rep says Lindsay WORSHIPPED Liz, and would never destroy her belongings and added, "This has nothing to do with Lindsay.  You should ask the producers about it."



Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon in 1980, was denied parole for the 7th time last week.  During his meeting with the parole board, he thought it might help his case if he told them it was NOTHING PERSONAL against Lennon.  He'd just wanted to take out somebody famous.  According to ABC News, Mark David Chapman told them he had a list of six or seven potential targets, including Johnny Carson, Elizabeth Taylor and George C. Scott.  He said "If John Lennon was less famous than three or four other people on the list, he would not have been shot."  CRAZY!!!

Giuliana and Bill Rancic welcomed a healthy baby boy last night!  Edward Duke Rancic was born at 10:12 p.m.  Giuliana told E! News, "Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives.  Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!"





Well this is kind of shocking . . LeAnn Rimes has checked herself into rehab to deal with anxiety and stress.  One of her reps has just released a statement to People.com saying, "LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30-day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress."





"Us Weekly" claims that John Mayer dumped Katy Perry by old school e-mail and it was  because he was, "tired of her hard partying."



Kris Humphries is being sued for sexual battery plus emotional distress and fraud by a woman who claims he KNOWINGLY gave her HERPES two years ago.  There's been no word yet from Kris, but sources close to him say he's 100% positive he doesn't have herpes or any other STD because he got tested recently after a different woman accused him of infecting her. No word on how much this woman is suing for.



Kim Kardashian sued Old Navy last July for MILLIONS, claiming it intentionally used a look-alike in an effort to dupe the public into thinking she was affiliated with the brand. Yesterday, the company agreed to pay Kim an undisclosed amount.  Both sides are reportedly pleased with the settlement.





I don't know how true this is, but "In Touch Weekly" says Kourtney Kardashian finally wised up and kicked her baby-daddy Scott Disick to the curb, because she's sick of his partying and immaturity.  Supposedly, she and Scott will be living in separate apartments while shooting the upcoming season of "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" this fall.



NICE!  Various online sources are claiming that Demi Moore has signed a $2 million book deal.  But those sources seem to disagree on what the book will be about. Some claim she's writing about her difficult relationship with her alcoholic mother, and how it impacted her life and career. Of course, others say it's going to be about Ashton Kutcher.  In fact, one report claims Demi is going to, "blow the lid on her six-year marriage to Ashton."  Another says, "She's planning to spill all the juicy details on her addictions, her meltdown and her marriages."  That's a bit more likely.



ACK OMG.  Well, now we know what Matthew McConaughey would look like if he were .. uhm . . very sick.  He's lost 30 pounds for an upcoming movie in which he plays an AIDS patient.  Not.Sexy.





It's been confirmed that Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki secretly got married after she's been spotted out and about with a beautifully big baby bump . . and a gold band on her left hand.  A guest at the wedding confirmed it was a 'fabulous occasion' and that the bride was dressed in 'classic attire'.  In other Adele news -- her running streak at number one is over.  "21" only hit 12th place this week, missing the Top 10 by about 1,000 copies.  Her album sat in the top sport for 78 weeks!!  Who beat her out?  Trey Songz. "Chapter v" sold 135,000 copies.



Madonna was TWO AND A HALF HOURS late to her show in Philadelphia on Tuesday.  It was the first stop on her U.S. tour. It came out a few days ago that Rose O'Donnell and Michelle Rounds got married back in June.  Now we have a bit of an insight on the prenuptial agreement Rosie made Michelle sign.  It is said to be "extremely generous" to Michelle . . unless she cheats on Rosie.  Then she gets NOTHING.



"Family Guy" creator Seth Macfarlane will host the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" on September 15th.

Lindsay Lohan has been banned from a posh Beverly Hill hotel for stiffing them $46,350.04.  Lindsay was practically living in the hotel for 47 days during the months of June and July and was finally forcefully removed on August 1st. Want to know how she racked up a bill of over 46K?  Minibar charges for the 47 days:  $3,145.07.  The highest daily tab was July 1st -- $502.43!!!   Cigarettes: $686.  She blew through 49 packs in 47 days at $14 a pop. Restaurant charges:  On July 4 Lindsay racked up a $1,992.07 bill.  On top of that, she spent $685.96 that day on room service. WOW





Wiz Khalifa is going to be a daddy!  MediaTakeout say that Wiz's girlfriend,  Amber Rose is pregnant and due in January.  The couple are looking to tie the knot in October. A source says, "Amber's already had to make some big lifestyle changes, like not smoking cigarettes anymore. As a model she's used to having a thin waist, so this is going to be an adjustment for her."





Here's some depressing news for ya . . The child stars on "Modern Family" have negotiated a salary raise and they're probably going to make more for ONE episode than you make in a whole year.  They will make an estimated $70,000 per episode beginning next season.  That works out to around $1.7 million for the season and according to reports, that TRIPLES their current salaries.



"Us Weekly" says Robert Pattinson is selling the Los Angeles home that he and Kristen Stewart shared.  And, there's talks that there might be a "Twilight" TV spin-off.  When asked if he would appear on such a show, he said, "Who knows?  The only thing that creates a little bit of a problem is that I'm supposed to be 17 forever.  I'm not sure I can be 17 forever."



"So You Think You Can Dance" judge Nigel Lythgoe is developing a new version of the 80's TV show "Fame".  The new "Fame", like the old "Fame", will, "expose the gritty struggle, heartache and pain endured in the search for stardom and the often lofty price paid for success."  There are no further details yet.





Eddie Murphy is trying to turn "Beverly Hills Cop" into a TV show.  According to reports, he's out pitching the series to networks TODAY.  The show is described as, "an hour-long crime procedural with strong comedic elements." If this thing DOES happen, Eddie would be an executive producer, and WOULD play Axel Foley again, thought Axel will not be the central character.





Katie Couric's new daytime talk show "Katie", will debut on September 10th and her first guest will be Jessica Simpson, who will be "showing off her post-baby body."  Sheryl Crow will also be a guest on the premiere.  Later episodes will feature Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Chelsea Handler, Sofia Vergara, Demi Lovato, Wendy Williams and "50 Shades of Grey" author E.L. James.



On "So You Think You Can Dance" from 8:00 to 10:00 on Fox tonight, Jesse Tyler Ferguson from "Modern Family" guest judges as the top eight perform and then two dancers are eliminated.  Chiddy Bang performs on "Oh Sit!" from 8:00 to 9:00  on the CW and Neon Trees will be on "America's Got Talent" from 9:00 to 10:00 on NBC.

Okay, fricken weird. Yesterday, I told you that Anna Faris and her husband Chris Pratt had their baby boy, right?  Well, Chris Tweeted, "It's a boy!  Thanks for all your kind words.  In lieu of gifts we ask that you mouth kiss a stranger." 



This should make Katy Perry feel pretty crappy.  Russell Brand is reportedly dating a Spice Girl. Geri Halliwell . . a.k.a. Ginger Spice.  A source says, "Things are getting very serious between them.  They had met several times in the past, but really got to know each other during the Olympics. They just clicked.  They have so much in common."



Lady Gaga is going to record her album, ARTPOP, without clothes. A source says, "She has been recording vocals while she's been completely naked.  She thinks it makes her voice sound better."  I see . . . 



The question on everyone's mind, I am sure, is . . "How much of Snooki's birth will we get to see on TV?" Well, I'm glad you asked.  RadarOnline.com says the "Snooki & JWoww" production team was in Snooki's hospital room in the moments leading up to the birth but were kicked out just before things got heated.  However, her fiancé Jionni continued filming up through the birth on a personal camcorder.  It's unclear how much time the show will spend on this, but it's basically guaranteed that we're going to see at least some of this   This would air on the second season of "Snooki & JWoww", which will premiere sometime early next year.



Some major news for the Beliebers . . Justin Bieber agreed to be one of 4 celebrity mentors assigned to one of the 4 judges.  He chose L.A. Reid. No word yet what other celebrities will be joining the panel as mentors. Something else we DO now know about the upcoming season, the head suits at "X Factor" will be tweaking the judges' responsibilities.  The categories are based more on AGE than gender.  Demi Lovato will mentor the youngest contestants - boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 16.  Britney Spears will work with the 17 to 24 year olds - and L.A. Reid is taking all contestants 25 and older.  That means, Simon Cowell is handling the GROUPS this year.





I am not sure what to say about this one.  If there is life on Mars, they will get a taste of Will.I.am before anything else.  Will has teamed up with NASA to sponsor a "special educational event" where he will premiere a new song called "Reach for the Stars" from the Mars rover Curiosity.  The event is streaming live on NASA's website TODAY at 4:00 P.M. Alright, who stole Dr. Phil's '57 Chevy??  The transmission went, so Phil sent to a garage in Burbank.  But somebody broke into the shop through one of the roll-up doors and took it.  The car is worth 100-grand. 



There was another fire at Tyler Perry's movie studio in Atlanta yesterday. It was confined to the roof of one building, which was undergoing repairs when the fire broke out.  It's not clear if this was the same building that caught fire this past May. The fire was brought under control in less than an hour.  There's no word what caused it.  The building didn't sustain any structural damage, and no one was injured.



KIm Kardashian wants to be the first reality TV celebrity to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? She says, "I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star.  So, of course I'm so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want.  I would love to break that mold."  She would also like you to know that she IS an entertainer.  "I'm not naïve to the fact that I'm not a singer or an actress or anything like that.  I've never claimed to be anything that I'm not.  I think [reality] is still a new form of entertainment"

A British auction house is selling a pair of stained tighty whities that Elvis wore back in 1977. The underwear is even described in the auction listing as, "unwashed with some stains apparent."  And even so, or maybe BECAUSE OF those stains, they're expecting someone to part with $16,000 for them.  The auction takes place on September 8th.

Well, Snooki is a mom.  She delivered a 6 pound, 5 ounce baby boy named Lorenzo Dominic LaValle at just before 3 yesterday morning.



Anna Faris and her husband Chris Pratt became parents for the first time on Saturday.  Little Jack was born a bit earlier than expected and will according to Anna's rep, will be spending some time in the neonatal intensive care unit.

 

The first man to ever walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, died Saturday of complications from surgery he had a few weeks ago to clear a blocked artery.  He was 82 years old.  He made history on July 20th, 1969, when he stepped off the Apollo 11 Lunar Module and said, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."  He was 38 at the time.





TMZ claims "American Idol" offered Katy Perry $20 MILLION to be a judge this season,but she turned it down.  Supposedly, Katy wasn't interested, and "money wasn't the issue."  Obviously.  Sources say she couldn't fit it into her schedule, and didn't think that it was a good career move right now.





Wow!  There's a Twitter war going on between Rihanna and Joan Rivers.  Joan started it when she Tweeted this:  "Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown.  Idiot!  Now it's MY turn to slap her."  Rihanna replied, "@Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you're old huh?"  Then she deleted that one, but replaced it with, "Slap on some diapers."  Joan shot back, "Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows:  If he hit you once, he'll hit you again. Read the statistics.  PS – Love to have you on Fashion Police!" 





No real surprise here:  Prince Harry's girlfriend was HUMILIATED by his nudie Vegas photos, so she DUMPED him.



Sources say Katie Holmes will receive $400,000 a year in child support from Tom Cruise for their daughter Suri.  That's about $33,333 a month.  He'll be paying it for the next 12 years, until Suri is 18.  That's a total of $4.8 million.



Jerry Nelson, the man who voiced The Count on "Sesame Street", died last Thursday.  He was 78. He also created Mr. Snuffleupagus and Grover's customer Mr. Johnson and played Gobo Fraggle on "Fraggle Rock". He also played several "Muppet Show" characters, including Sgt. Floyd Pepper of the Electric Mayhem and Kermit the Frog's nephew Robin.  Jerry began working with "Muppets" creator Jim HensonN in 1965.  He started performing full-time on "Sesame Street" in the '70s.  In 2004, he retired from operating the characters.  However, he continued to voice the Count until his death.

John Mayer and Katy Perry aren't dating anymore. A source says, "They'll end up as friends. People made it out to be far more than it was."  But another source says the breakup wasn't amicable at all, "John did a real number on Katy. She held off from his advances for the longest time and eventually gave in, fell head over heels for him and then once he had made his conquest, he dumped her."



What?  Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have been Tweeting like they're lovers.  For Demi's 20th birthday earlier this week, Wilmer Tweeted, "Feliz Cumpleaños 2 my angel @ddlovato, U continue 2 make me proud. U are the hero this generation it's been waiting 4! With & by you always." And Demi replied, "You are amazing…Thank you so much love. You mean the world to me." But then for some reason, she DELETED it, prompting Wilmer to Tweet, "Man, funny when good intentions or love back fires. Well, I'll never regret giving it all."



Prince Harry is blaming his SECURITY TEAM for those nude photos being leaked. Sources say Harry's bodyguards  should have confiscated the phones and other recording devices of everyone who went up to Harry's VIP suite before any partying commenced.  Another source says the guards dropped the ball because they were too busy enjoying the party themselves. And even when one person started snapping pictures, they didn't stop it.


Snooki has finally said out loud what the rest of us have been thinking for MONTHS: She told "In Touch Weekly",  "I'm nervous that I'm not going to be a good mom. I just really hope I know what I'm doing!"  When talking about preparing for the birth she says, "Lamaze is bull[crap]. They teach you how to breathe.  Are you really going to be worrying about how to breathe when you're having a baby? No! You're going to be screaming and throwing [stuff]."



On Twitter, Lady Gaga's makeup artist described Gaga's next album, "ARTPOP", as, "the hardest marijuana album of all time."  And Lady Gaga responded by saying, "Well, I was going for a more 'stoned Disney princess' kinda vibe." I'm not exactly sure what that means . . but the album should be out sometime next year.



It's been less than six months since One Direction's debut album "Up All Night" came out in the U.S. It was originally released in the U.K. last November and they are already back at it!  Their next album is coming out in November. There's no title or release date yet. The first single "Live While We're Young" is scheduled to come out on October 1st.



Lance Armstrong has decided to give up fighting the doping charges that have dogged him for years, saying, quote, "Enough is enough".  But he's NOT admitting guilt.  He's just saying the cards are so stacked against him, he'll never have a fair shot at clearing his name.  Still, it's likely that he'll be stripped of the seven straight Tour de France titles he won from 1999 to 2005, plus a bronze medal from the 2000 Summer Olympics.  He'll probably also receive a lifetime ban from competitive cycling. 



The drama continues for Elton John and Madonna. As you probably recall, Elton recently cut on Madonna for being mean to Lady Gaga. He called her a "fairground stripper" and the C-WORD . . among other things.  Well, during a show on Tuesday, Madonna dedicated the song "Masterpiece" to Elton, saying, "I know he's a big fan of it. And I know he's a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere." BUT, "Masterpiece" beat out Elton's song "Hello Hello" for a Golden Globe back in January and Elton wasn't happy about it.  In fact, his husband DAVID FURNISH called Madonna desperate and said her acceptance speech was, "embarrassing in its narcissism."  So obviously, this was a DISS.



Here's one of the most useless bits of trivia you're going to hear all year: Hilary Duff is America's closest celebrity relative to Britain's Queen Elizabeth.  That's according to the website FindMyPast.com,. which says that MILLIONS of Americans are distant relatives of the Royal Family.  Hilary is Elizabeth's 18th cousin. They're related through King Edward the Third, who died in 1377. He had a lot of kids, and is probably the link that most Americans have to the Queen.   Other celebrity relatives of the Queen include:  Brooke Shields, Jake and Maggie Gyllanhaal, Michael Douglas, Ellen DeGeneres, Brad Pitt AND Angelina Jolie, Alec Baldwin, Beyoncé

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger spoke to some magazine in Canada about their surprise engagement.  Chad said, "I knew I was falling for her.  [Working with her] was incredibly powerful and something I'll never forget."   And Avril added, quote, "He makes me laugh every day.  He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive."





"Life & Style Weekly" has a source that says Ashton Kutcher is really into Mila Kunis and "he's calling her his 'little wife,' which is cute but kind of odd since he's not divorced yet."  

 

 

Some people are saying that Rihanna has been texting Rob Pattinson.  Apparently, she got Rob's number from a mutual friend, and she's been sending him some, "sexy, funny texts" to cheer him up.



A 58 year old random dude broke into LL Cool J's home in L.A. on Tuesday night, but unfortunately for him, LL was home at the time, and he was feeling confrontational.  According to reports, LL heard something at around 1:00 A.M., and went to investigate.  He discovered an intruder in his kitchen . . . and proceeded to BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIM.  The cops showed up shortly after that, and arrested the guy.  He was hospitalized, and is being treated for several injuries including a broken nose and jaw.



Justin Bieber will have a cameo on "The Simpsons"  He Tweeted, "Just did a voiceover for 'The Simpsons'!!!  #Swaggy."  He later deleted the Tweet, so he probably wasn't supposed to announce it yet.  Regardless, executive producer Al Jean confirms that Justin will play himself on a future episode.  He says,  "He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in, and they won't admit him . . draw your own conclusions."   The episode is called "The Fabulous Faker Boy" and it's expected to air sometime next spring.  "The Simpsons" launches its 24th season on September 30th.



A ton of big-name celebrities are participating in the third Stand Up to Cancer telethon, which will air September 7th.  It's being broadcast on over 20 networks simultaneously, including ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.  The stars include:  Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Michael Douglas, Jessica Biel, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Seth Rogen, Emma Stone, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Alicia Keys and Tim McGraw.  Katie Couric, who co-founded Stand Up to Cancer, will also be on hand.  Her husband Jay died of colorectal cancer in 1998.  For more information, hit up StandUp2Cancer.org

This news kinda came out of left field. Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger from Nickelback are engaged.  Apparently they got together about 6 months ago to write music.  Chad proposed on the 8th of August with a 14 carat diamond ring.



At this point, it's clear that the Internet has NO FREAKIN' CLUE who's going to be judging "American Idol" with Mariah Carey next season.  Here's the latest:  TMZ claims Kanye West is in negotiations with "Idol" to be a judge.  Supposedly, there's mutual interest . . . but nothing is imminent yet.   Meanwhile, "People" magazine says Enrique Iglesias and Nick Jonas are still in the running to be judges.



Lindsay Lohan was invited to a house party on Sunday night, which went so late it turned into a sleepover.  She brought her brother Cody, her assistant and two unidentified guys.  The next day, the host realized that some expensive watches and sunglasses were missing, so he told everyone not to leave and called police. They showed up and questioned everyone - including Lindsay.  While Lindsay is not a suspect, the police say that the two guys she brought are.

Strip billiards isn't the only game Prince Harry played during his weekend in Vegas.  He also got into a swimming race with Olympian Ryan Lochte!  Needless to say,  Ryan won.  The race went down at about 3:00 A.M. Monday morning.  Ryan and Harry both jumped in the hotel pool with their jeans on, and commenced to breast-stroking.  After the race, Ryan raised his arms in victory, and he and Harry hugged it out.  Good times were had by all.  



Speaking of Ryan, RadarOnline.com says he wants at least $750,000 to be the next "Bachelor", but if ABC is really interested, he might try to milk a COOL MILLION out of them. A source says,"Ryan's agents are getting besieged with offers and deals, everything from 'The Bachelor', his own reality show, and some overseas movies." But the source adds that Ryan has some reservations about doing "The Bachelor", because he won't be able to control how the show portrays him, and he doesn't want to tarnish his "all-American image."



As of this past Monday, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are officially divorced. Obviously, the details are being kept confidential.  Sources say Tom is dealing with the split by throwing himself into his work, while neglecting his health. He's lost 14 pounds since Katie filed and friends are saying that he doesn't seem to be himself. 



"The Office" will end after the upcoming, ninth season. The guy who runs the show says, "We're going to have a lot of faces coming back - all questions will be answered this year and we're going to see who's behind the documentary.  Now that we know we have an end date we can blow things up and take some chances and it will be very freeing, creatively." 



Word has it former NFL star Michael Strahan has been chosen to be Kelly Ripa's permanent co-host on "Live!  With Kelly".   Anonymous "staffers at ABC" reportedly confirmed this, after seeing Michael's rep outside the building, quote, "grinning from ear to ear."  There's no official word yet.  Earlier this week, we heard that ABC wouldn't announce anything until the new season premieres two weeks from now.



Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys and Pink will all get their own "VH1 Storytellers" episodes this fall. They will debut on consecutive nights in November.  Taylor will be featured on November 11th . . Alicia Keys' episode premieres on the 12th . . and Pink's follows on the 13th.  By the way, Taylor's "VH1 Storytellers" performance will take place at a SCHOOL, and she's holding a contest to determine which one gets it.  If you're a student, you can vote for your high school or college at TaylorSwiftOnCampus.com from now through September 23rd.  The Top Five schools will receive a $10,000 grant for their music department.



NIKE will be selling its new LeBron James, the LeBron X, for a mere $315. Yikes!  Nike blamed the price on the increased cost of materials like cotton.  This is LeBron's 10th Nike shoe.  The first one came out in 2003, and "only" cost $110.



Busta Rhymes has released a FREE album online called "The Year of the Dragon".  It was put out as part of a partnership with the Google Play service.  It's streaming and available for download at Play.Google.com.  They say it's a "limited time" offer, but it's unclear what they mean by "limited."  Busta's guests on the album include:  Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Cam'ron, Maino, Trey Songz, Gucci Mane and Robin Thicke.

Sources close to "Top Gun" director Tony Scott say he had inoperable brain cancer . . . which would explain why he jumped to his death from a California Bridge on Sunday. But his family says he did NOT have cancer, or any other life-threatening disease.  There was an autopsy scheduled for yesterday.  There's no word when we'll hear the results.



Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel did NOT get married over the weekend.  The report was bogus.  In fact, Justin spent the weekend in Puerto Rico filming a movie.



"Us Weekly" claims Nicki Minaj has all but inked the deal to join "American Idol" as judge.  But there hasn't been an official announcement yet. They say it's essentially a done deal.


By the way, Nicki is currently being treated for "strained vocal cords," which forced her to cancel a few gigs in Europe this weekend. Apparently, she got a lot of criticism for bailing on the shows because she UNLEASHED on Twitter.  She said,  "If you have anything negative to say to me, please eat [crap] and die.  I am human." She didn't stop there.  Enjoy the rest of the rant . .

Cher Lloyd was at the V Music Festival in England over the weekend.  WHen she took the stage, someone threw a bottle filled with PEE at her.   Apparently, the crowd didn't calm down, and eventually booed her off the stage. On Twitter, she mentioned having a GLASS bottle thrown at her.  It's unclear if that was the one with the pee in it . . . or if this was a second one.  



Amanda Bynes was involved in yet another car accident Monday night.  A car rear-ended her rental.  The driver of the other car claims Amanda made a reckless maneuver that caused the collision.  Cops showed up but no one was ticketed.  BTW, Amanda is in a rental because her Beemer is in the body shop. In the last 6 months, Amanda has been arrested for DUI, and accused of 3 hit-and-runs.

Hollywood Director, Tony Scott committed suicide yesterday, by jumping off a Los Angeles bridge.  He was 68.  Tony Scott is a huge name in Hollywood.  He's directed movies like "Top Gun", "The Hunger", "Beverly Hills Cop 2", "Days of Thunder", "True Romance", "Crimson Tide", "Enemy of the State", and the Denzel Washington movie "Unstoppable".  Witnesses say around 12:30 in the afternoon, he climbed a nine-foot fence and jumped,  "without hesitation." Police found a suicide note in his office, but there's no word what it said. It's not clear exactly where he jumped from, but the bridge is about 185 feet above the water.  His body was retrieved by a diving team. Tony Scott is the younger brother of director Ridley Scott.  The two of them were co-producers of the TV shows "NUMB3RS" and "The  Good Wife".  They also produced the four-hour miniseries "Coma", which will air on A&E next month.

Hollywood gossip columnist Janet Charlton said Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel 'pulled a fast one' and got married in a secret ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Saturday.  No one has confirmed ..



More gossip is floating around about who will join Mariah Carey as a judge on the next Season of American idol.  The "Hollywood Reporter" says the person who is at the top of the list . . Nicki Minaj. The "Hollywood Reporter" also claims that "Idol's" dream scenario is a four-judge panel featuring Mariah, Nicki, a "country star," and a

"Latin artist."



"The Tonight Show" just went through a massive "downsizing."  They fired 20 employees  and some sources say it might have been more.  Jay Leno even agreed to a, "tremendous pay cut in order to save as many people's jobs as he could."  His rep says, "Jay's foremost concern is for the wonderful people who work for 'The Tonight Show'.  He did what was necessary to ensure their well-being."  I don't think Jay has to worry too much, really. Supposedly, he made around $30 million a year before the cut, plus another $15-to-$20 million a year from "other gigs."  A "source" tells the "Los Angeles Times" that his new salary is around $20 million.

Apparently, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are already kind of married. "Us Weekly" says, "Around the time of the proposal, they filled out civil paperwork in France, and the documents give them similar rights to a married couple."  There will be a ceremony and the magazine claims that the kids will decorate the chapel with "homemade drawings and family photos" and Angelina will wear a "white slip-like dress with flowers in her hair picked from the countryside."  Oh, and here's another thing:  NO CELEBRITIES.  "Us" says they don't want any celebrities to overshadow the proceedings.



According to the "National Enquirer", Jen Aniston and Justin Theroux will sign a prenuptial agreement. Jen is worth $120 million, while Justin is "only" worth $10.5 million.  A source says that Jen is working feverishly with her lawyers to hash out the pre-nup so she and Justin can marry by the end of the year.  Then they plan to start adoption proceedings so they can bring home a baby in 2013.



A&E has canceled "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" after seven seasons and more than 150 episodes.  Gene says, "With KISS on tour and with my other business commitments, we have decided to draw the final curtain on our show.  It has been a wonderful, life-altering experience, but we feel it's time to move on."



The island of St. Maarten reportedly wants $90,000 from Chad Ochocinco Evelyn Lozado.  Supposedly, the government paid for their wedding in return for the exposure they were going to get on the couple's upcoming VH1 reality show.  But now that VH1 has canned the show, that money's down the drain.



Kanye would like you to know that he spent 5,000 hours writing the lyrics to "Power".  Of course, that is pretty impossible but the song is different from anything he's ever done. He says there is more of a psychology behind the lyrics. When talking about the progression of his music, he says,"I didn't write my raps down for my first four albums . . . I just did it from the head straight to the booth.  But on 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy', I wrote it because I really put myself in the zone that my life was dependent on the success of this album.   With that being the case, I said, 'You know what?  No matter what anybody says about me, I can write something that can make someone that hates me the most have to really respect or love the song.' So even a song like 'Power',  It's word[ed] in a really sensitive way that opens it up for everyone."

Word is that Jen Aniston's engagement ring is a HUGE emerald cut diamond with tapered diamond baguettes on the sides.  No word on color of carat.  The other word is that Brad Pitt called to congratulate her on her engagement. A source says, "He jokingly asked if he should 'save the date', and they both laughed, but told her in all seriousness that he was really happy for her and Justin."  Jen used to date Bradley Cooper and for some reason, "Us Weekly" asked HIM how he felt about her engagement.  He said, "That's awesome."



Marvel Studios is currently filming "Iron Man 3" and while performing a stunt, Robert Downey Jr. injured his ankle.  The studio said that there will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates.

 

The National Enquirer is saying that Anderson Cooper has kicked his two-timing boy­friend out of their Manhattan apartment and called off their engagement after seeing photos of him kissing another man in a New York City park.

Hi-Larious!  Cee Lo is putting out a holiday album this year.  He says, "It's definitely a great soulful spin on Christmas classics.  I did a version of 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch'.  That says a lot.  Just ponder on that."  There's no title or release date yet.

After Cuba Gooding Jr. allegedly pushed that bartender in New Orleans, his wife Sara got together with friends, family and colleagues and held an INTERVENTION.  There's been one embarrasing moment after another with Cuba and it looks like he got the message. He has finally agreed to seek help for his boozing and to manage his temper.



Bobby Brown is back in rehab.  Apparently, it's for alcohol abuse, which he's admitted to in recent interviews. A source says, "Bobby decided that he needed help and wants to make the best out of the rest of his life for his children's sake."  Bobby's new wife Alicia Etheridge confirmed that he's in rehab and that he's "doing great."



Here are four things Chad Johnson (Ochocinco) had last week that he does NOT have this week:  A job . . two reality shows . . and a WIFE.  Evelyn filed for divorce yesterday, after Chad allegedly head-butted her during an argument on Saturday night. She issued a statement yesterday saying, "I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me.  It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles.  Domestic violence is not okay, and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well." The marriage lasted 41 days.  That's actually shorter than Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries!



Pepsi is doing something called the "NFL Anthems" project, where performers are creating new anthems for their hometown teams.  It was inspired by Wiz Khalifa's ode to the Pittsburgh Steelers, "Black and Yellow".  Kelly Clarkson is from Fort Worth, Texas, and is a fan of the Cowboys, so she has recorded a song for the team called "Get Up (A Cowboys Anthem)".  She says she wrote the lyrics the same night Pepsi approached her about the project.  For now, Pepsi has four more NFL anthems lined up.  Travie McCoy from Gym Class Heroes has one for the New York Giants called "All In".  Kid Rock is doing one for the Detroit Lions and Ice Cube will record one for the Oakland Raiders.  



Olympic Swimmer Ryan Lochte said that when he hangs up his speedo's, he'd like to get into acting - reality TV, specifically. It looks like he will guest star on "90210" this season, as HIMSELF.  According to reports, he'll show up "as a guest at a resort."  The episode will air on October 29th.



Carson Daly and his girlfriend Siri Pinter are expecting a baby girl in a few weeks.  And they're making sure that their 3-year-old son Jackson is cool with it.  Carson says, "Our son is on board.  For a while it was like, 'Does he know another one is coming?'  [But now] he talks to her and he's already really excited for this young lady to come out."

An update from yesterday's Ginger Juice . . Chad Johnson (Ochocinco) and his wife Evelyn's reality show "Ev and Ocho" on VH1 has been canceled after the reports of him allegedly head butting her on Saturday night. The show was supposed to debut on September 3rd.  VH1 issued a statement saying, "Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it."

Zach Galifianakis got married Saturday on a farm in Vancouver.  His new wife is Quinn Lundberg, who runs a charity that helps Third World nations.  Zach is 42 . . . Quinn is 29.

Robert Pattinson made his first post-scandal appearance on "The Daily Show" last night, and it was a little awkward, but definitely entertaining.  Jon Stewart started the interview off by breaking out the Ben and Jerry's ice cream.  And he said, "We're just a couple-a gals talking."  They did reference the Kristen Stewart thing for the first few minutes, without actually saying her name.  Rob admitted he didn't really know what to say because, "I'm cheap, I didn't hire a publicist."  The closest anyone came to making a direct comment about the scandal was when Jon Stewart, in a "sassy chick" kind of voice, said, "Boy, you are better off!  Kick her to the curb!"

The rumors are back about Brad and Angelina and NOW the tabloids are saying that they will exchange vows THIS weekend.  Their jeweler has designed wedding bands for them  worth about $784,000 each that are described as this, "They are matching rose gold bands with a tablet-cut diamond in them and their vows to each other engraved in them.  You can't see it with the naked eye but they both know they're there."

Miley Cyrus will guest star on "Two and a Half Men" this coming season.  She's playing a "love interest" for Jake, Angus T. Jones' character.  It's unclear if this is just a one-episode thing or if she'll stick around for multiple episodes.

Blake Lively is a LIAR!  Less than one month ago, she said, "I don't exercise, but I will start one day.  I'm 24 now, so I guess I've been very, very lucky that it doesn't show that I like to eat.  I should probably start working out I guess!" Well, I'm here to tell you that Blake Lively is a LIAR! Well, on Sunday she and her boyfriend hunky mchunkerson Ryan Reynolds were spotted going to a gym together.  SO there.



Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears go way back.  They practically grew up together on the Mickey Mouse SHow. And MONTHS AGO, we heard that Christina didn't have very many nice things about Britney becoming a judge on "X-Factor".  In a new statement, Christina changes her tune a bit.  She says, " Our paths have always crossed, and they continue to cross.  I welcome her to this family of fun and entertainment and finding new talent. I don't know what she's going to offer specifically, but I know she's a pro and she's going to give, I think, great advice."



"The Price Is Right" is holding a contest to find its first MALE MODEL . . . but unfortunately, the winning guy will only appear on the show for one week. Chad Johnson, the NFL Star formerly known as Chad Ochocinco was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly HEAD-BUTTED his wife, Evelyn.  They just got married on the 4th of July and it didn't take long for things to get bad. On Saturday night, they got into an argument in their driveway after Evelyn found a receipt for CONDOMS in Chad's car. Evelyn says Chad head-butted her but Chad claims they just both bent over at the same time and knocked heads.  Chad's career in the NFL appears to be over. He had the wporst season of his career last year with the Patriots, so they cut him.  The Miami Dolphins picked him up during the off-season, but they cut him last night, before he even had a chance to play a regular season game with them. Chad and Evelyn are currently filming a reality show for VH1 called"Ev and Ocho".



Oprah Winfrey's interview with Rihanna airs next Sunday night  When discussing the assault at the hands of Chris Brown, she broke down and started to cry. She said, "It was embarrassing.  It was humiliating. I lost my best friend."  Oprah says that Ri Ri was thoughtful, very emotional and vulnerable.



At 25 years old, Drake is breaking records.  He's released just TWO albums in two years, but he now has more Number Ones on Billboard's Hot R&B / Hip-Hop Songs Chart than any other RAPPER. He scored his 10th #1 last week, when the 2 CHAINZ single "No Lie" took the top spot.  Drake is a guest on the track.  Actually, SEVEN of Drake's 10 Number Ones are as a GUEST artist.  Jay-Z is second with NINE #1s. Lil Wayne has eight, Kanye West has six - and 50 Cent, Ludacris and Nelly all have four apiece.

A total of 38 world records were broken at the London Olympics. That's slightly down from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, where 43 were broken. The record breaking performances at the London Olympics mainly fall under three categories:  Swimming, cycling, and weightlifting.



I thought super star Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte had a girlfriend? Guess not.  He was on the "Today" Show on Friday disussing his plans for the future.  He was asked if he's like to do any reality TV  and he said, "Hopefully!  We'll see what happens.  I'm definitely looking towards, uh, 'Dancing with the Stars' and 'The Bachelor'.  When swimming is all said and done, I definitely want to get into fashion and design my own clothing line . . . getting into fashion . . . that is my passion."  Sounds like "Project Runway" might be more up his alley.



It's the Series Premiere of "Stars Earn Stripes" from 8:00 to 10:00 on NBC.  8 celebrities compete in military-inspired challenges alongside real-life Navy SEALs.  The celebrity contestants include Dean Cain, Nick Lachey and Olympic skier Picabo Street.  Jack Osbourne was supposed to compete on this show, but NBC fired him after he revealed he has MS, leading to his mom quitting "America's Got Talent".

Both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are scheduled to present at the MTV Video Music Awards which air live on September 6th. Something tells me that Kristen will be a no show. Regardless, a source says that JOKES about the cheating scandal are banned. 

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are having a huge family gathering at their home in France this weekend.  It's supposedly a 50th anniversary party for Brad's parents, but rumors are flying around the Internet that it's really a wedding.  Especially because one of the guests is the jeweler who made Angelina's engagement ring.

Kanye West has recorded a song called "Perfect [B-word]", which he wrote about his girlfriend Kim Kardashian. The song hasn't been released yet, but it doesn't seem to be getting any ups from 50 Cent.  He told "XXL" magazine, "if that man feel like she perfect, then she's perfect.  He could mean it and you'll end up singing the words to it because he's Kanye.  You know how it is?  One man's trash is another man's treasure."  Did he just call Kim Kardashian trash?

Lady Gaga is on the cover of the new issue of "Vogue".  In her interview,  she opens us up to the secret life of Gaga.  She says, "I'm a complete free spirit, so, even though you don't see it, I still find time to have sex at night on the beach when no one's around or roll into a bar and get messed up, and dance with my top off. It's just that no one ever sees that, because I have great real friends who never let me do it when I would get caught." 

Whitney Houston would have turned 49 yesterday.  And to mark the occasion, Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon got Whitney's initials tattooed on their wrists -- and they aren't really good looking. 

Jessica Simpson's dad, Joe, was arrested for DUI last Saturday night. He was booked and spent the rest of the night behind bars. Then released without having to post bail the next morning.

In a radio interview yesterday, Alanis Morisette hinted that she might be in negotiations to be a judge on "American Idol" next season. When asked if "Idol" has ever contacted her about judging, she said, "I'm in talks with SOMEBODY right now, I can't name any names, but I'm pretty excited at the thought of doing it more formally. Amy Winehouses's ex-husband Blake is in a coma after a suspected drug overdose. He was rushed to the hospital last Friday after his girlfriend found him choking in bed.  He has suffered major organ failure and is currently on life support.  He's 30 years old.  ** Blake and Amy met in 2005.  They married in 2007, and divorced two years later.  A lot of people blame Blake for getting Amy hooked on drugs, and that includes Amy's parents, who've rarely had a kind word to say about him. But yesterday Amy's dad MITCH Tweeted, "Terrible news about Blake this morning.  Remember Amy loved him.  Let's pray for his recovery."  That's a solid gesture when you consider this:  In his recent book "Amy, My Daughter", Mitch called Blake, "the biggest low-life that God ever put breath into."  That book just came out in June of this year.

Kristen Stewart is going to stay out of sight for a while longer.  Sources say she's dropped out of an upcoming movie called "Cali".   Kristen and Alex Pettyfer (he played Adam in "Magic Mike") were supposed to play a couple who fake their own deaths.  Meanwhile, she's also skipping the premiere of her upcoming movie "On the Road", which is set for a week from tonight.



Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan is going to be in Lady Gaga's video for song off her next album "ARTPOP".  But nothing is official yet.  An anonymous "source" tells E! News,  "She will be in Gaga's video. They've become good friends, they talk and text all the time . . . Gaga really likes Lindsay and Lindsay is really happy to be able to be part of it."



Drake was only 14 when Aaliyah died in a plane crash in 2001 - she was just 22 years old.  He's always been in love with Aaliyah and her music.  In an interview, he has said, She was a girl that I fell in love with early in my life, and I feel like, if she was still here I would probably be pursuing her in a major way . . . I was truly in love with her."  Well, now he would like to relese some of her music.  It's an album of "13 or 14 new songs" with previously unreleased Aaliyah vocals.  He released the first single, "Enough Said", a few days ago.  Drake is featured on the track, but it's credited as "Aaliyah featuring Drake." 





"ALF", (Alien Life Form), the TV show from the 80's about an alien who crash-lands on Earth and ends up living with a suburban family, is coming back!  It sounds like a new version will be at least partially computer-animated.  Also, ALF be voiced by the same guy who's always played him:  Paul Fusco, who was also one of the show's creators.





The people at Forbes.com have determined that Beyonce and Jay Z are the Highest-Paid Celebrity Couple in the World.  Beyonce banked $40 million over the past year, and Jay-Z kicked in $38 million, for a grand total of $78 million.  Last year's #1 couple, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, fell to SECOND with $72 million.

Robert Pattinson's first post-break-up interview is actually not with "Good Morning America", next Wednesday.  Rob will appear on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" Monday night - two days before he does "GMA".  He's actually promoting his upcoming movie "Cosmopolis", so it's very unlikely he will talk about Kristen Stewart.  In fact, a so-called "source" says, "He's never talked about his personal relationships before, and he's not going to start next week."  Exactly!



So, I've been curious to see what Macaulay Culkin looks like now, since there are some tabloids that think he's hooked on heroin and is on deaths door. And yea, scout doesn't look so good.





Justin Bieber is just a kid, I get that.  But if he wants to act like an adult in the real world, he has to be careful of what comes out of his mouth.  He was in the U.K. talking to a journalist of a popular British magazine and somehow the subject of Prince William's thinning hair came up.  Justin said, "I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays.  I don't know why he doesn't just get those things, those products. You just put [something] on and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over here?"   smh . . he says this about the Prince.





Carly Rae Jepsen has announced that her new album is called "Kiss", and it's coming out on September 18th.  Carly says,  "The record is pop.  It's inspired by:  Robyn, The Cars, Madonna, and believe it or not, James Taylor." 



Chris Martin of Coldplay says he runs his new music past his kids (that he shares with Gwyneth Paltrow) . . . 8 year-old Apple and 6 year-old Moses . . . because they'll be straight with him. He says, "Kids are very honest . . . if they start singing a song it's because they like it."  That's very true!  Love it!

Miley Cyrus doesn't plan on getting married anytime soon.  She tells "Marie Claire" magazine, "I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other.  And we want to have a long engagement."    



Pamela Anderson is going to be on the upcoming all-star season of "DWTS" (the show's 15th).  It premieres September 24th.  She is taking her second stint on the show very seriously.  So seriously and says that she has "sworn off men until November."  She's also asking her sons Her sons Brandon and Dylan are 16 and 14 and are planning on helping her motivate her fan base online.  She says, "They are technically savvy and I'm not."



Okay, this is too funny to not share.  It makes total sense, too.  When Arnold Schwarzenegger was a young, wannabe bodybuilder, his mother got really worried because he had posters of mostly naked, oiled up men. She enven went as far as calling the family doctor.  And according to Arnold, she said, "Is there something wrong?  Is my son turning south here?  All his friends have girls on the wall and he has only men oiled up with little briefs on."



LL Cool J is one classy dude -- and I've always really known that but over the weekend, a group of ladies were enjoying their girls night out dinner at Mr. Chow's in L.A. when they noticed that LL was sitting at the table next to them.  I'm sure the red wine helped the ladies spark up a conversation with him. But that's NOTHING compared to what she'll probably bank for the sequel, "Catching Fire".  The "Hollywood Reporter" says she's in the final stage of negotiations for a $10 MILLION payday.  And with performance-based bonuses, she could earn a lot more.

Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend, Casper Smart has been seen going to adult super stores and sources are saying he's looking for company from other women . . and men. Several websites claim J-Lo is close to breaking things off.  One source says, "They are still together.  But the photos have shaken her up . . . They have not split yet, but it's fair to say they are cooling off a bit."  Another source says that while J-Lo and Casper are on the outs, it's because of their age. "She has been feeling more like Casper's babysitter than girlfriend. Jen is absolutely going to break up with him, they just don't have a long term future together."



We now know more of the details in the story of Cuba Gooding Jr. pushing a bartender into a wall at a spot in New Orleans. According to the bartender, Cuba was intoxicated and had gotten angry at other bar patrons for taking pictures of him ... at which point, she told him to leave.  Surveilance video has surfaced showing Cuba leaving the bar.  A woman with dark hair follows him into the street, telling someone to "call the cops right now."  Cuba tells onlookers, "She's racist. She's racist. She doesn't like me." Moments later, another bystander yells, "He took a woman and he shoved her!"



Last week, "Us" magazine reported that Nick Jonas and Pharrel Williams were "frontrunners" to join American Idol as judges and Nick has confirmed it.  He Tweeted,  "The rumors are true.  I am being considered to be a judge on 'American Idol', and it would be a dream come true if it happens.  #NickOnIdol."  The Jonas Brothers were hot back in the day -- and having a younger judge (Nick is 19) will pull in a different viewing audience.



MTV has renewed 'Snooki & JWoww' for a second season.  The network has also announced that the sixth and rumored final season of Jersey Shore, will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 4.



Natalie Portman got married over the weekend.   There were about 100 people there and "Us Weekly" claims Macaulay Culkin was there.  I couldn't understand WHY until I remembered that Macaulay used to sate Mila Kunis who co-starred with Natalie in "Black Swan". No word if Mila was there but I doubt it.  Last we knew she was in Bali with Ashton Kutcher.



Rosie O'Donnell was supposed to marry her girlfriend Michelle Rounds, but they've decided to postpone it.  Michelle is battling a rare disease called DESMOID TUMORS. There's only 900 cases a year in the United States.  Rosie describes the tumors as,"odd and curious beasts, strong and sneaky . . . a non-cancer that acts cancerous."  Michelle actually had surgery in June, and Rosie says she's, "getting stronger every day."



Stevie Wonder, whose real name is Stevland Morris, has filed for divorce from his wife of 11 years, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris.  A rep for Stevie confirmed the news and released a statement, "As this is a private and personal matter, he asks that the public and the media kindly respect the privacy of Kai, his children, and family at this time." According to the divorce docs, Wonder and Morris have been separated since October 2009, but are finally making it legal.



Elton John and Madonna have been in a bitter cat fight for YEARS and now it's getting worse every time Madonna says something bad about Lady Gaga. In an interview with on Australian TV, he really lit into her.  "Why is she such a nightmare?  Sorry, her career is over.  Her tour has been a disaster."  He even went as far as saying that Madonna looks like a fairground stripper.  She's been horrible to Gaga."

Rupert Sanders is still in line to direct "Snow White and the Huntsman 2", but his wife won't let him.  A source says that they are trying to work their marriage out and one of the stipulations is that he never work with Kristen again.  If that's all the "punishment" he receives for his infidelity, he's a really lucky man and better kiss the ground his wife walks on . . for ever.



Police and other emergency responders raced to Miley Cyrus' house Wednesday night after someone called 911 to report a HOME INVASION.  They also said SHOTS may have been fired.  Police set up a perimeter and even had a helicopter flying over the house.  But they soon realized that nobody was home.  So, someone pulled a prank called SWATTING, which is becoming pretty common.  It's when someone tries to get a major police response by falsely reporting a serious crime.  Obviously, whoever did it will be arrested and prosecuted if caught.



Ah, I've always wanted to go to New Orleans and now I have another reason.  "In Touch Weekly" claims that Channing Tatum and a friend have purchased a New Orleans club called Saints and Sinners.  And like "Magic Mike", they plan to run all-male revues out of the joint.



I can kind of see this being an issue but I doubt it's as serious as this.  The "National Enquirer" claims Mariah Carey's $18 MILLION deal to judge "American Idol" is posing a serious threat to her marriage. Supposedly, her husband Nick Cannon is "furious" that Mariah is starring on a "direct competitor" to his show, "America's Got Talent".



Speaking of -- I haven't heard any new reports as to who else will judge the next season of American Idol.  But Snoop says he'll do it.  I would definitely watch then!!



Lil Wayne has announced that he's going to step away from rap for a little while . . . because he thinks we're all entitled to a break from him.  He says, "I feel like the fans deserve a lil' NO Wayne.  I've been everywhere.  I've been out on everybody's song, I'm still on everybody's song, my artists are doing awesome.  I believe the fans deserve some peace from me."  Then he says, "I be on my skateboard in the meantime."  His SKATEBOARD??  Okay . .



Wow -- the weirdness of the Jackson's didn't go away when Michael passed.  This week, Michael's mother, Katherine filed papers to have her custody of his kids re-instated.  And in those papers, she admitted she was basically TRICKED by her kids.  She said she was originally supposed to travel by motor home to New Mexico to see her sons perform.  But instead, they brought in a doctor who said it would be better if she flew.  So she got on a plane . . . but it didn't take her to New Mexico.  Instead, she found herself in Tucson, Arizona, where she was admitted to a spa due to supposed high blood pressure.   Once she got there, her phone and iPad were taken and the TV and phone in her room were disconnected. When Katherine asked about her grandchildren, she was told they were fine.  She had no idea they were looking for her, or that they'd filed a missing persons report. She said, "At the time, I trusted the people I was with to be honest with me.  I was never informed that [anyone] was trying to reach me."

Cuba Gooding Jr. is no longer a wanted man.  His arrest warrant was canceled yesterday after he met with New Orleans police to discuss the incident in which he allegedly shoved a female bartender. He was scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, but that probably won't happen now, because the bartender has decided not to press charges.



John Mayer has dated celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson.  And now it seems that he's moved on to Katy Perry.  They enjoyed dinner together at Pace restaurant in Los Angeles and then headed to a ritsy hotel to close out the evening . . ooohhh la la 





There's speculation that Jason Segel is planning to leave "How I Met Your Mother" after the upcoming eighth season.  An Austrian website quoted Jason saying, "It's great to do some 'rated R' stuff again, because I've been playing the nice guy for quite a long time now.That's why I'm gonna quit 'How I Met Your Mother' after the eighth season."  But Jason's rep says, "Perhaps something got lost in translation, but Season Nine hasn't even been addressed yet."  CBS is in talks to bring the show back in 2013, but nothing's been decided.



Snooki is getting her hospital bag together and wants to make sure she has the essentials . .  She says, "I'm packing heels, my leopard-print gown, eyelashes and makeup!  "I wanna look good when [my baby] first sees me."



Ryan Lochte's mother told the "Today" show's website that Ryan is too busy to, "give fully to a relationship."  So what does he do instead? She says, "He goes out on one-night stands."   Real nice, ma.



One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson thinks the group's screaming fans are causing him to go DEAF.  He says, "I am going slightly deaf in my right ear.  It's tinnitus, or something like that.  All our fans are always very loud."  A source says, "Screams during gigs have started affecting the boys on stage.  They're young and still developing, so management insists they wear high-tech earpieces and filters to reduce the volume of the screaming and the music."  But as it turns out, he just had a bad earache.

There's a warrant out for Cuba Gooding Jr.'s arrest.  He's in Orleans filming a movie called "The Butler" with Oprah Winfrey, Liam Neeson, Robin Williams, John Cusack, Nicole Kidman, Forest Whitaker, Jane Fonda, Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey and holy cow, more big names. Apparently, he got mad at people taking pictures and started cussing people out and pushed a female bartender against a wall at a bar on Bourbon Street yesterday morning at 2:00 A.M.



Snoop Dogg is dead. He's experienced a spiritual and artistic rebirth while spending time in Jamaica recently.  He's always said that he was Bob Marley reincarnated.  He has always been a Rastafari.  Recently he's said that he wants to bury Snoop Dogg, and become Snoop Lion.  Snoop says . . and I quote . .  "I didn't know that until I went to the temple, where the 'High Priest' asked me what my name was, and I said, 'Snoop Dogg.'  And he looked me in my eyes and said, 'No more.  You are the light, you are the lion.'  So, Snoops Lion has been born.  Stay tuned.



2011 Heisman Trophy finalist Montee Ball was hospitalized in Wisconsin this morning after the star running back was jumped by 5 men on the U of W campus.   According to reports, 21-year-old Ball was knocked to the ground and then kicked by all 5 men. It's unclear why Ball was targeted in the first place.  Montee was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He has since been released.   UW coach Bret Bielema says the team expects Ball to make a full recovery ... adding, "We will continue to evaluate him as we approach the start of fall camp this weekend."
